Building with Tegu Blocks

Mrs.Lepage and Mrs. Marcella bought some magnetic blocks for our Kindergartens and they wasted no time constructing a variety of structures from rockets to cars. The students worked hard to build structures they were proud of.

Time to relax!

Sometimes during the day you just need some quiet time! Here are four friends listening to music!

Alphabet Games!

Our Kindergarten class enjoys working with letters. This activity had students line up in alphabetical order and allowed children to interact with their peers and to have awareness of self to stand in lign in the appropriate spot depending on what letter each student was given. It is a fun activity that promotes learning about letters while promoting social interactions amonngst the Kinders. In addition, students practiced the sounds each letter makes.

Sight Word Activities

Our students are busy learning their sight words! We provide them with a variety of hands on activities that allow our Kinders to explore these important words that support learning to read.

Winter Experiment

One of our classroom inquiries about winter prompted us to explore the properties of ice and snow. Our experiment was to test what would melt faster; ice or snow.
The future scientists made predictions and then excitedly waited to discuss our findings.
