As a class we discussed how to recognize patterns and create them. The students had opportunities to come up to the Smartboard and make patterns. In addition, a variety of hands on table top activities allow our students to explore pattern making. P. is using the unifix cubes to create his pattern, while S. made a pattern using Halloween foam cutouts. Learning a mathematical concept in a fun way!
